Denis De Sylva

Born on the island of Mauritius, Denis’s passion for adventure and the wilderness lead him to Botswana where he worked as a pilot and safari camp host.  These days, Denis spends his summers sailing as a professional captain, and most recently, his passion and love for the outdoors and his good working relationship with owner Randall Moore has brought him to Rio Palena Lodge as the manager.  He is now hooked on fly fishing and will spend any time he gets on the water when he is not tending to the guests.  Denis will make sure all your needs and requests are well taken care of during your stay at Rio Palena.
