Season One!!

So much to say about our first season on the Palena river and its surrounding rivers and lakes.

In the four months that our season lasted, we have seen a lot of big trout being caught on both dry and streamer.  Most days, our fishermen have complained about sore wrists from reeling in big fish throughout the day!

But most of all, we have had a fantastic human experience.  People came from far away distnaces with their cultures and ideas and yet we all shared the same passion and love- which was being on the river and catching fish.

The RPL experience is more than fishing.  This place will transcend and make you forget all your worries, it is a real wonderland.

We have had comments such as

‘’Amazing place, great energy, best place I have ever fished..”

"Beautiful land, amazing fishing, I will return."  

And the list goes on...

So to say it was a success would be an understatement.  I cannot wait to see what next season will bring.
